TriForest Labware Announces the Launch of 3L Polycarbonate Fernbach Flask

Irvine, CA – December 3, 2012 – TriForest Labware is pleased to announce the release of its 3L Fernbach flask with the patented DuoCAP®. It is intended for single use but can be reused by autoclaving. The flask’s neck to base ratio provides the largest surface area of all commercially available culture flasks.

The TriForest Fernbach flasks are ideal for all shaker and suspension culture applications. The DuoCAP® improves sterile exchange of gases and allows effective air circulation necessary for suspension culture. Flasks are available with or without baffles.

The flasks are manufactured in an ISO9001 facility with FDA approved, animal-derived component free, virgin Lexan polycarbonate resin that is durable, chemically inert, non-leaching, and optically clear. The flasks are provided gamma sterilized and caps can withstand repeated autoclaving. They are also certified pyrogen and nuclease free.

TriForest Labware Introduces Our Line of PETG Square Media Bottles

Irvine, CA – July 30, 2012 – TriForest Labware features our line of gamma radiated Polyethylene Terephthalate G Copolyester (PETG) Square Media Bottles. They come in 2000 mL, 1000 mL, 500 mL, 250 mL, 125 mL, 60 mL, and 30 mL sizes with tamper evident caps.

TriForest PETG Square Media Bottles are ideal for the storage of media, laboratory reagents, biological buffers, and sterile product packaging. The bottles are manufactured with FDA-approved EASTAR resin in an ISO9001 facility in compliance with USP Class VI Standards. They are optically clear, highly durable, and come sterilized to SAL 10^-6 through gamma radiation.

Each bottle is supplied with a patented tamper evident closure and offers an excellent gas barrier with limited permeability to CO₂ and O₂. These caps come with various color and logo options upon request.
